Schaapplaats Cottage are stone cottages set in the sandstone amphitheatre of the Maluti Mountains 6km from Clarens. If you are looking for a tranquil family holiday in a beautiful setting, this must be it.

These sandstone cottages were built before the turn of the century and provide comfortable accommodation.

Fully self catering, the cottages offer you old world charm in a farm setting. Braai facilities are available.

Golden Mole Cottage Bedroom

Golden Mole Cottage The Golden Mole has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower and 1 with a bath, fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace in the lounge. There is a private braai area behind the cottage. This cottage sleeps 4 – 5 people.

Jemima Puddle Duck Cottage The Jemima Puddle Duck is a double storey cottage. It has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower, fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with a fireplace. The bedroom is a lofty room filled with sunshine and has spectacular views of “The Mother of the Mists” mountain. There is a braai area in front of the cottage. This cottage sleeps 2 – 5 people.

We don’t have card facilities.  Cash or Cheques are accepted.
RATES FOR ALL COTTAGES ARE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST
Any breakages and/or damages will be charged in full.
Deposits need to be paid within 48 hours after the booking.
